Report will be reviewed by committee

Now the sixth pay commission report will be reviewed by high-level official committee of secretaries set up by the government. This committee is headed by the Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar.

This committee will review all aspects of sixth pay commission report and if this committee wants to change some recommendations of 6th pay commission report, they can recommend government to change it.

This review is the final step for sixth pay commission. After completion of review, government will only need to get approval from cabinet. After approving from cabinet , all government employees will get revised salary. You can expect increased salary in your pay slip within three to four months.
